A local favorite. Everything I’ve tried I would get again! I recommend making reservations with a group so that you can try most dishes.
From the street, Tanto looks rather unassuming.
Always tempted to get the sashimi salad. Generous amounts of sashimi, with just the right amount of dressing and greens. This is probably as healthy as my cravings will ever get.
Kani Gratin. Cheesey crab goodness.
Kani Korokke. Crab croquettes. Couldn’t help from eating some before I took a photo.
Tempura Moriawase. Assorted tempura; a classic.
Yaki Onigiri. Fried rice balls with roe; this keeps me coming back! At first I would share an order. I no longer share. (=
Sashimi Moriawase 6 kinds. Also a classic.
Garlic Steak. Comes raw in a sizzling hot iron bowl, and finishes cooking as you stir it. This was way better than expected, and tasted even better the next day! Shortly after receiving this, I saw four similar orders arrive nearby; once you see and smell it you’ll know why. #infuencer.
