Café Bibliotec Hello!, Kyoto

Decided to look for hipster coffee in Kyoto. Apologies for the camera blur; it was pretty dark.

Do you see what I see?

Do you see what I see?!

B&W 804 Diamond Series is what I see. This one has some scratches.

I also see an Accuphase C-2810 Preamplifier, likely connected to an Accuphase E-350 Integrated above it (why not just use a power amp?). There’s a McIntosh pre-amp at the top, it seems!.

And an offline McIntosh 275 tube power amp on the near counter. I want one of these.

Back to the cafe. Some simple syrup and raw sugar available at the table.

I tried an iced latte. It was ok. I wonder if people rate this place highly because it looks good, or if I ordered the wrong thing.

Also tried some seasonally available smoothie. It was too sweet.

I think I’d come here to listen to music, but I’d want their speakers setup properly, not behind things in opposite corners of the room, facing different directions. Pretty sweet that they’ve invested in some of that stuff though. I wonder why no one mentions that in the reviews; probably because people don’t care about it as much as I do lol.
