Went looking for traditional, Kyoto-style sushi.
Isn’t weird how frequently we are the only ones in the restaurant? While eating, I noticed several customers ordering take-out.
They have English menus.
Kyoto-Sushi Assortment:
Saba Sushi / Tai Sushi Assortment (mackerel and sea bream):
When wrapped, it is hard to see how large the piece of fish really is. When unwrapped, it is easier to tell. I tried eating the seaweed too; it is very chewy / tough.
After dinner I went to use the restroom and found their backyard garden. It was the best restaurant bathroom entrance I had in Kyoto.
Western style toilet! The bathroom was clean.
I’d go back!
